Morrow said construction on the 15-acre site will begin in September, and the 15,500-square-foot building is expected to be completed a year later in September 2008. The building, which is Phase I of a three-phase master plan for the church complex, will include a worship area with a seating capacity of 350, 12 classrooms, a fellowship area, kitchen, and church offices. Future construction will include a sanctuary and an education building.
The master plan and building were designed by TurnerBatson Architects of
Sweet said the building will allow the congregation to better fulfill its mission.
